Brekkie Bonfire

The large, really dark mushrooms reminded me of sticks so I decided to build a breakfast campfire around them.

Healthy breakfasts for kids

Recipe

– Large capped mushrooms (rather than the button)

– Egg. I separated part of the yolk (so I could get the really orange looking flames)

– Tomato

– Baby spinach

Method

1. Cut the cooked mushroom into strips and pile into a campfire shape.

Campfire - 1 mushrooms (1 of 1)

2. Then add scrambled egg as glowing fire.

Campfire - 2 egg (1 of 1)

3. With the cooked separated yolk becoming the bright flames.

Campfire - 4 flames (1 of 1)

4. Then using sliced tomatoes for red flames.

Campfire - 5 tomatoes (1 of 1)

5. And spinach leaves for the surrounds.

Campfire - 6 leaves (1 of 1)

6. Leaving no cooking to do.
