Fun Christmas Bells
I’m always looking for new ways to serve food and as we’re in the middle of moving (ahhh) I am more time poor than usual. Dishes like Bubble and Squeak tick my boxes as I can throw whatever veggies I have in with some mashed potato, roast in the oven and voila a simple meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner packed with nutrients.
I am not usually happy with the outcome of molds – but this time they worked a treat.
Check out my very simple, fun food bells.
– Bubble and Squeak
– Flat leaf spinach
– Cherry tomato
1. Push the B & S into the mold.
2. Then add another bell.
3. Add some slices of cherry tomatoes for the tops of the bells.
4. Then I cut some of the spinach leaves to make bows (I used my kitchen scissors).
5. But realised the bells were too near the top of the plate and the bottom ribbons too long ….
Ding dong …. time to eat.
