Nothing says Christmas like a big, red Santa. I was going to make a basic pizza but he just developed into a snack that the boys devoured with glee.

Here’s a fun food Tomato Santa, sweet, delicious and simple.             Fun Christmas food art Santa

Recipe

– Flat bread base (optional)

– Cherry tomatoes

– Cream cheese

– Olives

– Yellow capsicum/bell pepper

– Oat bran or grated cauliflower/cheese

Method

1. Use scissors to cut a “Santa” shape.

2. Cover with tomatoes sliced in half.

3. Add a cream cheese bobble.

4. Then some trim for his top.

5. And a beard and moustache.

6. With some trim for his hat.

7. Use slices of olive for his belt.

8. And his eyes.

9. Then give him a flashy, capsicum buckle.

10. Before adding his arms.

11. And some little hands.

12. I used oat bran for snow.

Fun Santa Over the Moon

Over the Moon …

Well we’re over the moon that Santa will finally be on his way tonight ….

Here’s my special, Christmas Eve fun food plate designed for my boys.

 

Recipe

– Apple (pear)

– Blueberries

– Strawberry

– Coconut

Method

1. I tried to use a pineapple for the moon but it was too yellow. The large centre part from an apple looked much better!

2. I cut a sled shape from a blueberry.

3. Then added a Santa-esque shape.

And some boxes on and off the back of the sled.

4. But without reindeer where would he be …

Cut from blueberries again.

5. Then given legs to run.

6. Reins for Santa to hold.

And a blob of strawberry for Rudolph’s nose.

7. Then I added some apple planets.

8. Some coconut for the distant stars and Santa could be seen flitting over the moon …
