Fun Pizza Snowman

Pizza Snowman

Making the Tomato Santa gave me an idea so I tried a Pizza Snowman. Big hit with the mini-chefs! I used a wholemeal flatbread as the base – my quick cheat when I want to make pizza in minutes. You could of course use a regular base (and cut the shape with a knife).

Here’s my fun food, Pizza Snowman.

Fun Apple Snowman

Apple Snowman

Fun, fruit Friday. I have put together a cute, cartoon, fun food snowman. You can make with or without yoghurt to dip.

Healthy food for kids Snowman

– Red & green apples (can make with just one)

– Raisins/dark plum (for detail) – dates or any dark fruit would work

– Orange – I used a slither for the nose but any contrasting coloured fruit would do

– Desiccated coconut – for snow (oat bran is a good alternative)

– Yoghurt for snow drift (optional)

1. Cut a body and head from the centre of the apple. I have indented the body slightly to fit the head into.

Apple Snowman - 1 apple (1 of 1)

2. Then I added a jaunty hat cut from the outside of a red apple.

Apple Snowman - 2 hat (1 of 1)

3. And a scarf too.

Apple Snowman - 3 scarf (1 of 1)

4. Then I used a dark plum to give him eyes and a mouth.

Apple Snowman - 4 face & buttons (1 of 1)

And some raisins for his buttons.

5. His arms were cut from a green apple.

Apple Snowman - 5 arms (1 of 1)

6. Then I cut a sliver of orange for his nose.

Apple Snowman - 6 nose (1 of 1)

Apple Snowman - 7 nose horizontal (1 of 1)

This just shows how it actually protrudes!

7. And as I was finishing it began to snow ….

Apple Snowman - 8 snow (1 of 1)

8. Which all drifted around his base …
